For the last eighteen years, Omega Events has been a leader in live entertainment on the West Coast, bringing world-class musicians and their fans together at a variety of music festivals, winery concerts and special events.
A California Corporation, Omega Events employs a team of professionals specializing in every aspect of event production, from talent buying, sponsorship and marketing to operations; beverage sales, vendors, cash-management and concert production.Omega Events has donated funds and its services to a variety of non-profit partners, including Festival of Children Foundation, the Surfrider Foundation, the San Onofre Foundation, the Kiwanis Club, the Ocean Institute in Dana Point and the Inland Empire Music & Art Foundation.
Omega has created opportunities for aspiring musicians, including partnering with Albertsons to fund a Music in the Schools program at Washington Prep High School in South Central Los Angeles. Omega has also operated a talent search competition in conjunction with the Doheny Blues Festival, and has also brought many foreign musicians to the West Coast, sometimes in their first visit to the U.S. Since 1995, more than 4,700 musicians of varying musical genres and backgrounds, have performed to 700,000+ audience members at various Omega Events.
Rich Sherman
Omega Events was founded in 1995 by Rich Sherman, President & CEO, and has continuously operated under his leadership. Sherman’s primary role for the company is as Talent Buyer, booking over 100 acts per year including some of the top names in contemporary music. Sherman has also led the company’s development in the area of stored-value technology, as Omega created The Event Card System… a cashless solution for special events. In 2012, Omega Events became the first festival promoter in the U.S. to incorporate admissions & concessions on the same RFID wristband.
As CEO, Sherman also oversees finances, marketing and overall company management. Sherman believes strongly in collaboration and takes great pride in developing the careers of the other Omega team members.
Ryan Cueva
Ryan Cueva, VP of Operations and Sponsorship Development has been with Omega Events for 12 years and has worked in the special event industry for over 18 years. Working directly with City, County and State representatives, Cueva helps to build fan-friendly environments, while maintaining venue standards and expectations. Cueva oversees events from conception to completion, managing multiple tasks and projects throughout the year. In addition to event operations, Cueva is solely responsible for all sponsorship development at Omega Events. Despite the economic downturn and decrease in corporate spending the past few years, Cueva continues to secure new sponsorships and increase revenue and partnerships each year. Maintaining good relationships with both local and national brands is a top priority for Ryan, working alongside companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Bank of the West, Toyota, Blackstone Wines, Evian and many more.
Pamela Forney
Everything that occurs onstage is under the control of Pamela Forney, the Production Manager for Omega Events. In addition to her work with Omega, Forney has served as production manager for many celebrated events such as the KISS-FM Wango Tango and Jingle Ball concerts, the Soboba Casino concert series, and many Wiltern Theatre events.
