July 17 & 18, 2010. HOURS General Admission doors open at 10:30 a.m. on both days. VIP doors will open at 10:15 a.m. Gold doors will open at 10:00 a.m. There will be five main stage performances each day, each lasting 45-90 minutes. During the 30-40 minute intermissions, the Garden Stage will feature additional performances. Music will end by approximately 9 p.m. each night. DIRECTIONS Bonelli Park is located adjacent to the Raging Waters Waterpark in San Dimas, just 15 miles east of Pasadena. Bonelli Park is located directly off the 57 Freeway at Via Verde, or you can exit the 10 Freeway at Fairplex Drive. If you need directions to Bonelli Park, click here for a Yahoo map. THE PARKING PLAN We want to make your arrival at JazzFest West a smooth one, so we have added a few new wrinkles... please take notice. Please note that Prefered, VIP, and GOLD parking must purchased in ADVANCE. Parking at the Fairplex Fairgrounds ($9) and ADA parking are both available upon arrival. PRINT OUT the Parking Plan! VIP PARKING: If you purchase VIP tickets, you must also purchase a VIP Parking Pass ($10); one per 4 tickets maximum, per household. You cannot buy parking passes the weekend of the event. You will be directed to Lot 2 (close to the Food Court entrance), which will only be used for VIP ticketholders. GOLD PARKING: Gold ticketholders will receive free parking in our backstage "Staff & Band" parking lot. A parking tag will be mailed with your ticket order, so you can enter the event easily. Due to the limit on parking at Bonelli, there is a limit of one parking pass per 4 Gold tickets purchased, per household. We will also create a Gold entrance so that you can walk directly from the parking lot into the Gold Area... there is no longer a need to walk through the front gate area. ADA PARKING: We have ADA Parking available in Lot 1, while availability lasts. You must enter Bonelli from the 57 FWY at Via Verde (pay $8 per car at the kiosk). All appropriate state issued auto identification is required and will be strictly enforced. GEN. ADMISSION PARKING: All GA ticketholders will be parking at the nearby Fairplex fairgrounds and will be shuttled efficiently to the front gate. The cost will be $9 per car, and the shuttle is free. ONLY use the Fairplex Drive exit from The 10 Freeway - follow the signs. PREFERRED PARKING LOT: For those GA ticket holders who would like Preferred Parking inside Bonelli Park, the cost is $15 per car; shuttles will deliver you to the front gate. Preferred Parking passes are available in advance through the website, and there may be a few available at the entrances (while supplies last). Please CLICK HERE to view the ADA Plan for JazzFest West. OFFICIAL HOTEL The all-suite Sheraton Fairplex is the Official Hotel for JazzFest West, located less then two miles from Bonelli Park. They have offered some great rates to JazzFest West attendees... so book your rooms now! FRONT GATE The gates will open at 10:30 a.m. (10:15 a.m. for VIP, 10 a.m. for Gold). We are committed to getting fans into JazzFest West as quick as possible. For the benefit of the others in line, please do not bring items that will not be allowed into the event. OK TO BRING Feel free to bring low-back chairs, a blanket, two (2) sealed personal bottles of water (sport bottles or smaller), small coolers (see below), still cameras (no video, no flash), sunscreen, ATM/Credit Cards, and light clothing. We accept cash and credit cards everywhere at the event, including the front gate and Event Card sales locations, the exclusive form of payment for food and beverages. WHAT NOT TO BRING Please do not bring food or beverage (two personal bottles of water are allowed), large coolers, picnic baskets, video cameras, tables or canopies. For the convenience of those around you, high-back chairs and umbrellas must be positioned on the perimeter of the seating areas. You are allowed to save rooms for 2 persons but not the whole family , as we want to ensure a fair seating arrangement for all the attendees. NOTE: all personal belongings will be searched prior to entrance, so please adhere to these rules so that others will not be delayed during the entrance process. WATER & COOLERS (1) Each ticket holder will be allowed to bring in 2 sealed water bottles of water, sport bottles or smaller; (2) we will allow small coolers into the venue for ice and water (no larger than 10" wide x 10" tall x 15" long max.); (3) if you do bring a small cooler, please understand that it will be searched. NOTE: large coolers will not be allowed into the venue, regardless of whether you are coming with a large group. If the cooler is larger than 10" wide x 10" tall x 15" long, you will not be allowed to bring it on a shuttle bus or get into an entrance line. UMBRELLAS & HIGH-BACK CHAIRS In fairness to everyone in attendance, we must ensure that views of the stage are not blocked. Therefore, umbrellas and high-back chairs must be set-up in the various Umbrella Zones throughout Bonelli Park or at the back of the general seating areas.
