Media professionals who would like to apply for credentials should read the media guidelines below and then proceed to the appropriate Press Application. Please note, submitting an application is simply a request, and it may not be approved. All approved media representatives must agree to the concert or festival guidelines and ticket policies. In some instances, approved members of the press may be asked to meet with Omega Event staff prior to the festival.
Application deadlines are listed next to each event/concert at the top of the application form. Requests will not be accepted after the designated deadline and only a limited number of credentials will be granted. Each individual requesting credentials must complete their own application.
In order to be considered for press credentials, you must be on assignment with coverage secured. All media representatives must provide the name and contact information for their Editor or Supervisor. You may not complete an application for a “team” or multiple people. Generally, no more than 2 representatives from any one specific media outlet are approved.
We do not award credentials to individuals who only want to cover a specific artist. If you are attending the festival as a media representative, you must cover the festival in its entirety. Proof of coverage must be submitted to email@example.com no later than the appropriate application deadline.
Please note, a very limited number of Photo Passes are awarded. Photographers must be on assignment with coverage secured. Approved photographers must shoot the festival in its entirety (not just artists). High-res .JPG files with no watermarks must be submitted no later than 10 business days after the festival. All photographers on assignment must sign a photo release and submit it at least 10 days prior to the concert or festival. Any photographer approved to take photos at a concert or festival agrees that photos shall not be sold.
Media outlets that need photos of a concert or festival for post-coverage may send their request to press[at]omegaevents.com.
No video cameras or camera crews are permitted inside the festival unless an authorized television crew has permission.
We will contact your Supervisor/Editor to confirm coverage and in some cases, may request an official letter. When completing your application please use a valid working email with your company domain name (i.e. bob[at]radiostationname.com).
We will not accept incomplete applications. The more details you provide, the more efficient the review process is. Leaving fields blank may affect your application and we ask that you’re as thorough as possible. If you have previously covered the concert or festival, please be sure to email links, articles or clippings to press[at]omegaevents.com.
Acceptance & Notification
We reserve the right to decline any requests for credentials. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we will only notify you if your application is accepted. Notifications will be sent via email 1-2 weeks prior to the concert or festival. Not all approved press/media representatives will receive ‘press’ passes (i.e. you may only receive GA tickets). If your application is approved, you will be emailed check-in and on-site details.
